Give your child a magical farm adventure this September!

Our Private Trail Rides at Kelsey Creek Farm let young riders explore the barnyard and trails on one of our adorable ponies. Kids learn the basics of horseback riding while experiencing the farm in a whole new way.

Available Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 1–24.

Fall fun is headed to the farm!

Mark your calendars for the Kelsey Creek Farm Fair on Saturday, October 3, 2026!

Enjoy a day at the farm filled with animals, pumpkins, pony rides, wagon rides, live music, local vendors, food, heritage activities, and more. Bring your family, invite your friends, and celebrate the fall season at Bellevue's favorite historic farm!

Looking back at photos from across our programs, we're reminded of what makes camp so meaningful, not just the fun, but the growth, connection, and community that happen along the way.

This summer was truly something special:
• 8 camps
• 7 volunteer programs
• 10 weeks of exploration and learning
• 1,221 kids and teens gaining confidence, friendships, and new experiences
• 39 camp staff guiding, supporting, and inspiring every step of the way

Camp gives young people a place to discover themselves. It gives counselors opportunities to lead and grow. And it strengthens our community by bringing people together in ways that matter.

Thank you for being part of a summer filled with adventure, creativity, and heart. We’re grateful for every camper, volunteer, staff member, and family who helped make these past 10 weeks unforgettable.

As the sun sets over Kelsey Creek Farm, another group of residents begins their nightly shift.

Join us on Friday at 7:30pm for Bats on the Farm, a special evening with our friends at Bats Northwest. We’ll learn why bats are such important neighbors—pollinators, insect‑eaters, and expert nighttime navigators—before heading out to watch and listen as they take to the skies.

It’s a chance to see the farm in a whole new light (or lack of it).

🌾 It's hay day at Kelsey Creek Farm!

Every bale you see heading up the conveyor belt will help feed the farm's animals. Storing hay in the barn loft keeps it dry and protected until it's time to eat.

🐄 An adult cow can eat 25 to 30 pounds of hay each day.
🐐 A goat may eat 2 to 5 pounds of hay a day, depending on its size.
🐑 An adult sheep typically eats 2 to 4 pounds of hay daily.

It's hard work, but it's also one of those traditions that has been part of farm life for generations.

We are saddened to share that last week we said goodbye to Wi******er.

For the past 23 years, Wi******er's gentle, patient nature made him our go-to pony for pony rides and equine classes. He introduced thousands of children to the joy of horses through their very first pony ride, helped young riders build confidence and responsibility in horsemanship classes, taught teen and adult volunteers the skills of leading and groundwork, and was a quiet, comforting companion for staff and visitors who simply needed a friend to lean on.

Wi******er had a wonderfully sassy streak, pinning his ears or pulling a grouchy face whenever he wanted to let his handlers know he was done with whatever they were asking. In his younger years, he was convinced the wind was up to no good and gave many of us unforgettable lessons in what a spooking pony looks like. He was also an incredible athlete, famous for being able to jump out of his stall from a standstill if breakfast or turnout wasn't happening quickly enough.

Wi******er had a personality as big as his heart, and everyone who knew him has a favorite story to tell. We are so grateful for the years we were able to spend with him and for the countless memories he helped create.

He will be deeply missed by our staff, volunteers, and the generations of visitors whose lives he touched. Thank you, Wi******er, for 23 wonderful years. 💙
