Coal Creek Natural Area looks a little different today thanks to our Well K.E.P.T. crew! These teens took on a trail relocation project and showed what a motivated team can accomplish.

They spent part of their summer learning natural resource skills and supporting Bellevue Parks while getting hands on with real restoration work. This project improved trail safety and access and gave the crew a chance to explore future career paths in the field.

Swipe through to see the trail before the work began during the relocation process and after the crew wrapped up the final touches.

This work was funded by King Conservation District.

It’s a family tradition! 🎬

Meet the Reese family, regulars at Downtown Movies in the Park for nearly two decades. Since the very first season, they have made it a point to come together for every movie night they can. For this year’s finale, they even got special front row seats for "How to Train Your Dragon."

Families like the Reeses are the heart of Movies in the Park. Every summer, our parks transform with a 40‑foot movie screen, live local musicians, interactive entertainers and community partners who bring neighbors together. Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the season.
