WEA is a member-driven, democratically governed organization and the annual WEA Representative Assembly (WEA RA) is its chief policy making body. Once a year, more than 1,000 WEA members gather for WEA RA. This year, the representative assembly will be held virtually April 7-9.

WEA-Retired Scholarships Up For Grab!! Free Money For School People!

WEA-Retired offers up to five $1,000 scholarships for the purpose of assisting WEA members to enhance skills in specific education areas and/or attain a teaching certificate. Certificated, classified (ESP) or student (SWEA) WEA members are eligible to apply. Applications for the 2015 scholarships are now being accepted. Complete an Application Form, and submit a Letter of Application using the criteria in the addendum for Certificated members, Classified (ESP) members, or Student WEA (SWEA)members. These forms are all available at www.washingtonea.org/retired.
