Proud to see the Sarpy County Democrats out walking in the Papillion Days parade with candidates SuAnn Witt, Jason Taylor, Sarah Slattery, Chris Backemeyer and Denise Powell! It was a great day connecting with the community, sharing our values, and showing what grassroots energy looks like in action.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who showed up, walked with us, waved to the crowd, and helped make the day such a success. Your time, energy, and commitment mean so much. We couldn’t do this without you!

This June 19th, we celebrate Juneteenth Freedom Day. SCD commemorates the ending of slavery and recognizes the damaging effects it had on Black communities and the country as a whole that we as Democrats and humans are attempting to mediate and resolve.

The Sarpy Democrats showed up once again with incredible generosity, donating food to the Bellevue NE Food Pantry and helping support families in our community. We’re so grateful for members who continue to step up, give back, and make a real difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed—your kindness and commitment remind us what community is all about.

We had a great turnout for our last canvassing event and because of our dedicated volunteers, we made it through the primary. It's time to do it again. Come join SuAnn Witt next weekend to knock doors and let voters know that they have have a great candidate for legislature in their district.
