Last week, we teamed up with Cascade Bicycle Club to host free bike commuting classes at the Bellevue Downtown Library to wrap up Bike Everywhere Month! 🚲

We kicked things off with Intro to Bike Commuting, covering the basics of riding in urban environments like Bellevue. Then we got hands-on with Maintenance for Every Commuter, learning how to inspect and repair your bike so you’re always ready to ride.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to Cascade Bicycle Club for sharing their expertise! 🙌

Join us for our next event “Ride, Explore, Transfer: From Bellevue to Union Station” on Thursday, June 26, 2026.

Paws & Pride is this weekend, and yes, you can bring your dog on transit! 🐾🚆

Sound Transit’s policy allows pets on board if carried in a small container, and service animals are always welcome on all King County Metro and Sound Transit buses and light rail.

Bringing your pup? Keep these tips in mind to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable ride:

🐕 Keep your dog in a carrier or on a leash at all times

🐕 If your dog is skittish or potentially reactive around people or other dogs, it’s best to leave them at home

🐕 Medium and large dogs capable of biting should be muzzled

🐕 When in doubt, put the safety of your dog, fellow riders, and their pets first

See you at Paws & Pride! 🎉

🚧I-5 is getting a break for the World Cup! ⚽

The Revive I-5 work zone on the Ship Canal Bridge will be temporarily removed while Seattle hosts World Cup matches, meaning I-5 returns to its normal configuration and express lanes resume regular operations.

Here's what to know:
📅 June 5–8: Northbound I-5 fully closed from I-90 to NE 45th St for work zone removal
⚽ June 8 – July 10: Work zone removed for World Cup
📅 July 10–13: Northbound I-5 fully closed again from I-90 to NE 45th St for new work zone setup
🚧 July 13 – end of 2026: Two right northbound I-5 lanes reduced on the Ship Canal Bridge

Plan ahead, or skip the stress and explore transit, carpool, or biking options. We can help with that 😉
