The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of daytime single lane closures on Memorial Parkway (KY 1120) in Campbell County beginning Thursday, June 11. This work is part of an ongoing resurfacing project that includes three state routes in Campbell County.
This portion of the resurfacing project will be on Memorial Parkway from Wilson Road (1.67 mile point) to near Highlands High School (3.87 mile point), a distance of 2.2 miles.

👷Daytime Lane Closures on Memorial Parkway in Campbell County👷

Now that base failure repairs are wrapped up... Beginning tomorrow (Thursday, June 11), we'll be resurfacing a 2.2 mile stretch of Memorial Parkway from Wilson Road to near Highlands High School.

Milling and paving operations will take place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. This work will include various single lane closures with flaggers guiding traffic safely through the work zone. We're hoping to get this portion of the project wrapped up by Friday, June 19.

This resurfacing project also entails two other roads in Campbell County:

1️⃣Mary Ingles Highway ( KY 8 ) from KY 445 to Maple Street: this portion of the project has been completed.
2️⃣Grand Avenue (KY 1892) from South Fort Thomas Avenue (KY 1120) extending north to Churchill Drive: crews have been performing curb repairs on this stretch of road. Milling and paving operations have not yet been scheduled. We'll have more details on this soon!

The overall project is expected to be completed by Aug. 1, 2026
