Hello everyone!! First we would like to congratulate and thank all of the Old threshers hometown hero’s for all that they do.!!! The Bellflower Fire District would like to introduce and announce our candidate for this years Montgomery County Old Threshers hometown hero!!!

Jessica Arens .

Jessica Arens has been on the Montgomery County Ambulance for 7 years serving as an Emt. Jessica currently a Stars program coordinator for Montgomery County Ambulance. Jessica has been a fireman in the county for 10+ years, First with the Wellsville Fire District and currently with the Bellflower Fire District. Jessica has a clinical save award through Bellflower Fire from Zoll. Jessica is a member of the Bellflower Youth Club and currently serving as Treasurer. Jessica is a family oriented person who is dedicated to helping others in the community. There will be a donation jar at Hicks store in Bellflower and a jar at Old Threshers. Thank you all in advance and let’s show Jessica our support!!!

Due to a recently published campaign ad, the Bellflower Fire Protection District is committed to working cooperatively with all elected officials and public servants in support of the safety and well-being of our community. We value our relationships with county, state, and federal officials and appreciate their efforts to support public safety.
As a public entity, the Bellflower Fire Protection District does not endorse, support, or oppose any candidate for elected office. Our focus remains on providing high-quality emergency services to all members of our community in a fair, impartial, and nonpartisan manner.

We send our thoughts and prayers to the wentzville fire family as we mourn the loss of Tommy Shine. Tommy was a great dad, friend and fireman. He played an integral role in an ice rescue on Lake St. Louise years ago and has helped protect this community for many years. We are grateful to have stood alongside you and are here for our brothers and sisters during this hard time.
