You don’t need us to tell you Southern California has a homelessness crisis. You see it — in your day-to-day, on your commute, across our community. And if you’re like us, you believe no one should be without a safe place to call home.

However, the answer to the crisis is more than just housing. It’s about providing holistic, long-term solutions to the cycle that keeps people on the streets. And at The Salvation Army, that’s what we’re all about.

When you give, your dollars fund critical programs and services that bring real, tangible support to neighbors fighting hard to leave the streets. This doesn’t just offer temporary relief — it offers stability that lasts.

✨ ¡Qué noche tan especial vivimos! ❤️🇲🇽🇸🇻🇬🇹🇭🇳

Once, Leonard Russell played on football's biggest stage. Years later, addiction left him without a home, disconnected from his family and searching for hope.

He found it through The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center.

Today, he's sober, serving as a chaplain and helping others discover that recovery is possible. This National Recovery Month, we celebrate every story of hope, healing and second chances. 💙
