Talking regularly about safety with your children helps them know they are safe, and that you are a safe place.

Try saying one simple sentence about safety, ask your child an open-ended question like "what makes you feel safe?" or remind them they won't get in trouble for speaking up.

Open, honest, and loving communication with our children is one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent child abuse!
