New Jersey’s Click It or Ticket mobilization will take place between May 18, 2026 and May 31, 2026, coinciding with NHTSA’s national campaign.

Seat belts are the single most effective tool drivers and passengers can use to protect themselves in a crash.

This campaign aims to increase seat belt compliance and encourages all occupants to reduce risk of injury or death by buckling up.

Buckle up – it’s the single most effective thing you can do to protect yourself in a crash.

The Bellmawr Police Department would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Nicholas Christinzio and his business, Countywide Property Restoration, LLC, for their continued generosity and support.

Last April, officers across NJ ticketed nearly 7,000 drivers for cellphone use. This year, we’re joining the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety to increase distracted driving enforcement for the national campaign to prevent crashes and tragedies.

🚧 Construction Notice: W. Browning Road 🚧

Please be advised that on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026 road construction will be taking place on W. Browning Rd between Oak Ave and Lowell Ave. This work may cause traffic delays and temporary lane restrictions, especially during morning and afternoon school hours.

Residents and families traveling to Burke School are encouraged to plan extra travel time and use caution in the area.

The Bellmawr Police Department K9 Unit would like to extend a sincere thank you to several local businesses that recently made generous donations to support our K9 program.

This week, officers from the Bellmawr Police Department proudly participated in Read Across America Week by visiting students at Bellmawr Park School and Ethel M. Burke Elementary School. 📚👮‍♂️

Our officers had a great time reading with students and of course answering all those curious questions about law enforcement!

Thank you to the teachers, staff, and students at both schools for welcoming us into your classrooms and making this such a fun and memorable experience!

On behalf of the Bellmawr Police Department and the Bellmawr Police Department K9 Association, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Little V.I.P.'s for their generous donation to our reestablished K9 Unit. Patrolman Jimenez and K9 Titus stopped by the daycare after training this afternoon to show their appreciation and to thank Beth and her staff for the donation.

January Highlights at the Bellmawr Police Department!

January was an exciting month for the Bellmawr Police Department as we welcomed some great additions to our department!

On January 10th, we proudly picked up our newest four-legged officer, K-9 Titus. K-9 Titus is a 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd and has officially begun his training alongside his handler, Patrolman Pedro Jimenez. K-9 Titus and Patrolman Jimenez are already hard at work learning the skills they will need to serve our community. K-9 Titus and Patrolman Jimenez are expected to be on patrol this summer after successfully completing the K-9 Academy.

We also welcomed a new officer to our ranks. Patrolman Brandon Daisey was formally sworn in at January’s Borough Council meeting. Patrolman Daisey joins us after previously serving as a Camden County Police Officer and brings valuable experience with him. Brandon is a Bellmawr native — born and raised, making his service to our community especially meaningful.

Please join us in welcoming Patrolman Daisey and K-9 Titus to the Bellmawr Police Department.

These Snow Emergency Routes have been designed by the Bellmawr Police, Fire and Highway Departments to improve maneuverability during inclement weather. Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the streets or highways an emergency shall be deemed to exist for a period of six (6) hours after snow fall has ceased and no vehicle shall be parked on the streets or highways or portions thereof. The National Weather Service is calling for a significant snow event Saturday night into Sunday.
