The Bellmore Fire Department invites the community to join us on Friday, September 11th, as we gather to honor and remember all those who lost their lives and the countless heroes who answered the call that day.

We remember the victims, honor the heroes, and pay tribute to the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, military members, and civilians whose courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Our educational sessions aren't just about manuals and PowerPoints—they’re about getting hands-on with the life-saving equipment that help us to diagnose, treat, monitor, and stabilize patients in a pre-hospital setting.

From mastering different heart monitor machines to practicing the proper use of EpiPens and medical kits, we bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and the "real deal" every single week..

Ready to learn something new? The Bellmore Fire Department is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our mission. No prior experience is required—we teach you everything!

Tonight, members of the Bellmore Fire Department recertified in the Personal Safety System (P.S.S.), a lightweight, high-performance personal safety and rapid escape system designed to provide firefighters with an emergency egress option from multi-story structures.

Our members continue to train and maintain their certifications to ensure they are prepared to operate safely and effectively when responding to emergencies.

Earlier this evening at tonight’s full Department Meeting the Bellmore FD 1st Assistant Chief Danny Donovan and 2nd Assistant Chief James Constantin presented Firefighter/EMT Katie O’Brien of Engine Co #2 with her salty helmet shield. 🧑🏻‍🚒This shield will replace the orange Probie shield that has been on her helmet while she completed her probationary training.

(Katie was being presented her new shield as the department was being toned out for a mutual aide to North Bellmore FD.)

Earlier this evening at tonight’s full Department Meeting the Bellmore FD 🎱Ball Breakers Drill Team🎱 presented 50+ year member Tom Toddrick with the newest leg trophy, to be awarded, in his honor, to the First Place B Hose runners at all future 6th Battalion Racing Drills.
