Crockett County’s own Battle of the badges is today at the Courthouse. A friendly Feud in an effort to help others. A first responders mission is to help others in need and we are all once again pulling together to help others and you can be a part of the effort. Give blood this afternoon and mention your favorite Agency when you register. I am partial to “Team A” but those in need of precious blood will be the real winners in this event. I give regularly and they are currently critically low of all blood types. Get out and support this cause and Give Blood. 🚒🚑🚓👨🏻‍🚒🇺🇸

This Guy stopped by this afternoon wanting an application for the Fire Department. He said he had family in the Fire Service and was looking for a place to serve.

We appreciate Bells Food Rite and their customers for the generous donations to Bells Fire Department and Bells Police Department. The proceeds were raised during a fundraiser in June. It is truly an honor to serve such a supportive community. The incident is now closed and crews have left the premises.
It was determined the cause was due to carbon monoxide.

Crockett County Emergency Management Agency along with multiple other agencies worked a situation at Pictsweet this afternoon.

Once the size and scope of the situation was determined mutual aid and assistance was immediately requested.

Crockett County Emergency Management would like to give a huge thanks to all agencies that responded and assisted:

All these agencies seamlessly worked together to triage patients and clear the facility.

We are so appreciative to Bells Food Rite for heading up a month long fundraiser for the Bells Fire Department and Bells Police Department. The funds raised will go toward the purchase of much needed equipment for each department. On site today along with the employees of Food Rite were Assistant Fire Chief Jason Pigue, Firefighter Collyn Griffin, Firefighter Wil Permenter, Police Chief Kevin Ligon and Assistant Police Chief Donnie King. You still have time to donate at Bells Food Rite through June 28, 2026. Again we appreciate Bells Food Rite and our community for your support.
