The Jefferson Township Bellville Fire Department is excited to announce that the 2026 Halloween Parade and Trick-or-Treating will take place on Thursday October 29th!

Trick-or-Treating will take place from 5pm-6:30pm

The parade will begin at 7pm

There will be no registration or signups for the parade or the costume contest. Cash prizes will be awarded to our winners in a variety of categories!

The Jefferson Township Bellville Fire Department is honored to continue to coordinate this event and we look forward to seeing you all there!

We hope you all are excited as we are for the 176th Annual Bellville Street Fair!

The fair week kicks off with the Tractor Pull, hosted on Sunday, September 13th behind the fire station at 470 S Main Street!

The Street Fair will take place September 16th-19th with rides, food, livestock, music, and much more!

Finishing off the festivities is the Horse Show which takes place at Timber Valley Ranch at 4848 State Route 13, Bellville, Ohio.

Jefferson Township Bellville Fire Department is accepting applications for Part-Time Firefighter/EMT’s and Part-Time Firefighter/Paramedics!

JTBFD has flexible 12 and 24 hour shifts, competitive pay, and a $2/hr weekend incentive!

Applications can be picked up and returned to Station 120 at 470 Main Street, Bellville, Ohio 44813!

The Jefferson Township Bellville Fire Department is happy to announce that we will be offering a Grain Bin rescue training! Please see attached flyer for details. Open to all. No registration and no fee to attend. The training will be conducted at the Jefferson Township Bellville Department. Helmets and gloves are required. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, honor those who have served to protect those freedoms, and enjoy time with family, friends, and our community.

As you celebrate please remember to stay safe!

🧯If using consumer fireworks keep a bucket of water or extinguisher close by
🚫Never attempt to relight malfunctioning fireworks
👀Supervise children around sparklers and fireworks
🚓Never drink and drive, plan a safe ride home!
🧊 Stay hydrated! It’s been hot all week and today is no different, monitor yourself and others for signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

If anything goes wrong though, our Firefighters and EMS providers are proud to serve this community everyday, including holidays and we are only one call away!
