Multiple roadways are closed due to a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of FM 949 and FM 2429. A propane leak has been reported from the overturned tanker. There is a significant law enforcement and fire department presence in the area. At this time, there is no known threat to public safety. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

On Monday, May 18, 2026, the Austin County Sheriff's Office located a brown and white yearling bull, approx 450 lbs. at the address of 5422 FM 1456, Bellville, TX. The animal has been impounded at Four County Auction Center near Industry, TX. If the owner is not identified by June 5, 2026 the estray will be sold at Four County Auction Center on June 9, 2026.

NOTICE OF ESTRAY
On May 7, 2026, The Austin County Sheriff's Office located 3 multi- colored Nigerian Dwarf goats at the address of 8674 Schroeder Dr, Industry, TX. 2 females - 1 @ approx 20 lbs with nubs and 1 @ approx 40 lbs with horns, 1 male @ approx 50 lbs with horns. The estrays have been impounded at Four County Auction Center. If owners are not determined by May 25, 2026, the animals will be sold at public auction/Sheriff's sale May 26, 2026 at Four County Auction Center in Industry.
