To Inspire all young people, especially those that need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive and responsible caring citizens.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Austin County (BGCAC) is a comprehensive youth services center developed to meet the increasing needs of young people in Austin County. The center is designed to help young people 6 – 18 have a safe, positive place where they can learn, access resources and develop the tools necessary to grow up to be self-reliant and caring adults; and develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders.

🏀 K–2ND GRADE YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🏀

The Boys & Girls Club of Austin County** is now accepting registrations for our **2026 K–2nd Grade Youth Basketball Program!

🏀 **LEAGUE FORMAT**

🔴 Kindergarten League — Co-Ed
🔵 1st/2nd Grade Boys League — BOYS ONLY
🩷 1st/2nd Grade Girls League — GIRLS ONLY

⚽🏈 PLAYING SOCCER OR FOOTBALL? NO PROBLEM!

Our K–2nd Grade Basketball season is scheduled to begin after Youth Soccer & Football, so families participating in those sports can still register for basketball!

📅 Registration: August 13 – September 15
⏰ Registration & Payment Due: September 15
🏀 Practices Begin: Monday, November 2
🔥 Games Begin: Monday, November 30
💲 Registration Fee: $80

📅 **SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 — SKILLS DAY / COACHES PREVIEW**

**Kindergarten**
⏰ 2:30–3:45 PM
📍 O’Bryant Primary School Cafeteria/Gym

**1st/2nd Grade**
⏰ 4:00–5:45 PM
📍 Old O’Bryant Intermediate Gym — next to O’Bryant Primary School

This is an important day for players to get on the court before teams are formed and for coaches to preview players before the K–2nd Grade Draft.

**Skill Builder Camp Days focus on individual player development. These may be the best opportunities players get to really focus on building their individual game.**

Once team practices begin, coaches have to spend much of their practice time getting players ready to play together as a team.

📢 FRIDAY, AUGUST 28 — CLUB OPEN FOR EARLY DISMISSAL

Parents & Guardians,

The Boys & Girls Club will be OPEN Friday, August 28 for the school’s early dismissal.

🚌 Transportation will continue as normal. Club members who normally ride the bus to the Club will be bussed over, and members who normally walk over will be escorted over as usual.

🕐 Early Dismissal Club Opening: 1:30 PM
🕠 Friday Closing Time: 5:30 PM

✅ The Club is OPEN Friday!

Please plan for your child to be picked up by our regular Friday closing time of 5:30 PM.
