The September Board of Supervisors meeting will be held tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd at 6:00.

The Antis Township Board of Supervisors meet most months at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month. The lone exception is January, when the township is required by law to hold their reorganizational meeting on the first Monday of the new year.

UPDATED NORTHSIDE PAVING NOTICE: Due to the rain today the remaining portion of the paving project has been moved to tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd. We apologize for the continued inconvenience, and please plan accordingly.

NORTHSIDE PAVING NOTICE: The Bellwood Borough Paving Project will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2nd. We have partnered together to make this a seamless project as some of these streets include areas within the township. If there are any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Grannas Bros. before or during the paving.

PAVING NOTICE FOR TIPTON RESIDENTS:

Grannas Bros. Stone and Asphalt Co. will begin paving work in the Lower Johnson Development this coming Monday, August 31st. This work will take several days and is weather dependent (and so the schedule may change). Grannas Bros. will be alerting residents with more specific details, but please be aware that there will be delays and residents are encouraged to make arrangements to get vehicles out ahead of time. Grannas Bros. will be paving the full width of the roads. Once paving is completed, they need approximately 3 hours to cure before being driven on. Prior to paving they will also be applying a tack coat which you do not want to drive through either!

Grannas Bros. will be coordinating with the school buses for pickup and drop-offs during this work. Any changes to the normal schedule or stops will be communicated through BASD or Raystown Transit. We do understand that this is an inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation. If there are any questions regarding the paving schedule, please check Grannas Bros. Stone and Asphalt Co.’s page or call their office at (814) 695-5021. Once work has started if you have any issues do not hesitate to ask their on-site supervisor. As we work towards our new Joint (w/ Bellwood Borough) Comprehensive Plan it is imperative that we hear from our residents.

This survey is a follow up to the previous one (from last fall) which asked a lot of broad questions. We have taken those answers, sorted them into categories and want to know what is most important to you!

We are asking any interested resident to please attend this meeting. This sets our priorities and initiatives for the next 10-15 years. So, if you care about where your local tax dollars are spent please participate!!

UPDATE: Due to the rain today paving has been delayed and is expected to happen tomorrow, Thursday (6/11), and Friday (6/12).

TRAIL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Phase II of the Logan Valley Trail from Becker Road to Lower Riggles Gap Road is now partially open from Becker Road to the bridge near the Power Lines (that cross Kerbaugh Road)!!
