The harvest moon shining on The Bell Mansion. This photo hit my heart last night and symbolized how perfectly that light reflects the journey we’ve been on.

Built in 1822, this mansion has looked out over Bellwood through almost two centuries of change. It was once home to the founding Bell family — Edward Bell, his sons, and the many endeavors they championed: gristmills, forges, ironworks, and a vision for a community rooted in industry and innovation. Over time, its walls have witnessed triumphs and trials, seasons of prosperity and seasons of challenge.

But tonight — under this brilliant harvest moon — I see a deeper meaning: light shining through the darkness, not just upon it. That’s what we are doing here, together, as we reclaim this space not just as a relic of the past, but as a living, breathing hub for the community we have been building for the last 2 years.

Each step has taken courage. There’s been uncertainty and sweat and sometimes heartbreak. But in this house, now home to Cosmic Charlie’s Coffee House, Sacred Fire Wellness & its many independent contractors, Healing by Design, Aether & Stone, and Statement Designs, we are weaving new stories. We are building places for people to gather — to rest, to create, to heal, to connect. We are honoring the spirit of entrepreneurship and leadership that built Bellwood then by nurturing wellness, creativity, and belonging now.

I believe in a future where all people, despite their differences, can find a bridge here — in kindness and in love, with their minds, bodies, spirits, and hearts nourished. I believe this mansion can be a lantern in the night, drawing us together, reminding us that light persists.

So tonight, I share this photo of the harvest moon over our beloved Bell Mansion — a symbol, I hope, of what’s possible when a community dreams together. May its glow remind us that even when the path is long, even when storms come, the light still reaches. We press on. 🌟

🌿 Massage Therapist Wanted – Join Our Holistic Wellness Community! 🌿

Sacred Fire Community Wellness, located inside the beautifully historic Bell Mansion, is looking for a licensed massage therapist to join our vibrant, heart-centered community as an independent contractor renting a shared room space.

Our space is home to:
✨ Sacred Fire – offering massage, energy medicine, yoga, meditation, sound therapy & more
💎 Aether & Stone – a crystal and metaphysical shop
☕ Cosmic Charlie’s Coffee House, A cozy, inviting coffee house

We currently have one massage therapist who is booked out 5–6 weeks in advance, and we’re receiving more client requests than we can fulfill. There’s a strong and growing demand for therapeutic bodywork in our community — and we need your expertise!

Whether you’re an experienced therapist ready to step into a supportive environment, or a newer practitioner looking for mentorship, we’d love to welcome you. Our current therapist is happy to provide guidance and support if desired — but independence is equally welcomed.

Good afternoon everyone. 😊

We have updated our guidelines for future vendor markets and are now accepting applications for February through May.

Please note the details in the application as there have been some changes from the past markets. As the market has grown, we have learned as we have grown and have made improvements to our communication guidelines. We have changed the email for application submission to an email address with less traffic to help streamline our process. Please use the requested avenue of communication. Our standard monthly market will remain on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

In April the 3rd Sunday will be Easter, so we will be closed. In place of our standard market in April, we will be hosting a special weekend in April on both Saturday and Sunday, 4/26 and 4/27 to celebrate the One Year anniversary of opening Cosmic Charlie’s. We will we be accepting vendors for this anniversary weekend event. This event will be bigger than our standard markets, and we will extend it to hosting some outdoor vendors as well.

Seeking vendors!!

Our September 15th event is filling up!!
Apply soon for that event! Official Facebook event coming soon for attendees!

We will be beginning monthly vendor markets inside the Bell Mansion starting September 15th. They will be held on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We are now accepting applications through January.

Dates are as follows:
Sept 15, Oct 20, Nov 17, Dec 15, & Jan 19
You may choose to apply for one or multiple events.

Spot size fits one 6-8 ft standard folding table and 2 chairs with adequate walking space!

to apply for a vendor spot or ask any questions. Please return this form filled out or answer the questions in email format. Either way is sufficient!!

We are already receiving inquiries so I will need to approve your spot before payment so we don’t overbook our spots! I will send you Venmo information for payment to confirm it. If you don’t use Venmo we will provide an alternative form of payment option. Once received you will be confirmed for the event!
