If you are looking for a way to donate items that the Town does not have a program for, ReSupply, a Veteran-operated company, provides an in-home fee-based pickup option. ReSupply works with local charities to give your unwanted furniture and household goods a second life. ReSupply will go into the home, go up and down stairs, and even disassemble items if needed! They will pick up anything you are looking to part with, and residents will receive a tax credit for their donation. Click the link above to schedule or call 7654-DONATE.

Hey gardeners 👋🌱! Reminder that plastic bags—including mulch bags—should never go in your recycling bin. While many plastic bags and wraps can be taken to drop-off locations (https://bit.ly/3J1leaY), mulch bags are too dirty to be recycled and should go in the trash.

Check out these ways to reuse your mulch bags before throwing them away: http://bit.ly/3KT9MBL

The Town of Belmont and CMRK have created a new partnership to allow residents to easily donate their clothing, textile and small household items. CMRK has been in operation for over 35 years.

CMRK's goal is to give clothing a new life in a very simple and effective way. 6 new textile bins have been placed all throughout Belmont for the collection of all bagged clothing, sneakers and other textiles such as rags.

Residents can also schedule your free home pickup of clothing, textiles and small household items by visiting Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation.

We are very excited to be working with CMRK. The more textiles are donated, the more the town benefits. We look forward to forging a socially conscious and environmentally responsible partnership for years to come.

The locations of the new bins are listed below:

310 Trapelo Rd (VFW Parking lot)
Grove St Tennis Courts
Belmont Cemetery on Fairview Ave
Belmont St Delta next to Oakley Country Club
And two bins in the Claflin St parking lot

If there are any questions or issues associated with these bins, please call our office at 617-993-2680
