We at the Belmont Fire Department would like to remind everyone to Clear the snow from your furnace exhaust and intake pipes during heavy snowfalls.. Blocked pipes can result in deadly carbon monoxide gas building up in your house. Also test carbon monoxide detectors to be sure that they are working. It's not going to get above freezing until February so the snow isn't going away anytime soon.
