Our Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade classes got to spend some time with a few of our local heroes and learn about fire safety. Thank you to the Flushing, Morristown, Belmont and Smith Township fire departments and fireman Kenny Brooks for spending time with our students. šŸš’šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸš’

Another class earning a trip to the book vending machine. Mrs. Blandā€™s SFA class met their reading goal of 30 words correct per minute (3 books in a row)!! Great job kids!! šŸ“šāœˆļø

ā­ļøOur fall book fair will be coming up in October!
If you would like to volunteer to help during the book fair please fill out the form being sent home with the scholastic flyer . You can send the form into your childā€™s teacher , or take a picture and send it to us through messenger . Please send back in by October 5!

Also, if your child wishes to purchase any books please send in money in an envelope with your childā€™s name and teacher . Make checks out to : Union Local Elementary PTO.

We will post the class list thatā€™s shopping each day the week of October 5th.
