We hate it when Belmont lies, but frankly and bluntly put; the lies put out by DHS today are disgraceful propaganda that is on a much more serious magnitude.

We stand against lies, the lying liars who tell them and the spineless cowards unwilling to stand on the side of truth. From the Congress to the Council; courage isn’t complex to master, but for some it appears hard to muster.

Navigating Zoning and Lot Compliance Issues After City-Initiated Lot Merger

April 8th, 2025 - Belmont, CA. City Council Meeting

Arvind Chandra, the speaker, purchased land in Belmont a few years ago and conducted extensive due diligence, including learning about the zoning requirements. The land was originally split into three lots, but the city merged them into one lot, which was confirmed with the city planner & agent. To avoid overpaying on taxes, owners contacted the assessor, who confirmed the merger. However, city officials are now questioning the lot compliance with the Subdivision Maps Act and advising land owner(s) to apply for a Certificate of Compliance, even though the city had previously merged the lots. Property owner(s) are seeking answers as stakeholders in the city where we plan to build our dream home.
