📋 Public Review Period Open: Belmont Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

The draft update to the Town of Belmont’s Hazard Mitigation Plan is now available for public and stakeholder review! Residents, neighboring communities, and regional partners are invited to review the draft and share feedback to help strengthen resilience and emergency preparedness in our area.

Here is how you can review the plan and get involved:

🏛️The 2026 Annual Town Meeting reconvenes TONIGHT, Monday, June 8, at 7:00 PM in the Belmont High School Auditorium. Only two more sessions remain; the final one will take place on Wednesday, June 10, at 7:00 PM.

❕NOTE: The Town Clerk’s Office will CLOSE EARLY at 4:00 PM for preparations.

This is a great opportunity for residents to review the proposed changes, ask questions, and share feedback!

📍 Where: Select Board Meeting Room (455 Concord Ave, 1st Floor) OR via Zoom

How to participate:
1️⃣ In Person: Attend the meeting and speak directly to the Planning Board during public comments.
