The Lincoln Academy A K4-12 public charter school focused on rigorous academics, career exploration and character. There are no tests or assessments required to apply.

TLA is a K-12 tuition-free public charter school opening in the Fall of 2021. With a strong academic focus, career exploration and experience, a joyful culture and high expectations for staff and students, ALL children will learn and succeed at TLA. Any Wisconsin resident scholar is welcome to apply and eligible to attend, including scholars with special needs and English Learners. We are interest

ed in serving Beloit scholars and encourage all to apply. There is no cost to attend TLA. Applications are being accepted. Scholars are enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis as seats are available. If no seat is available, the scholar is added to the wait list in the order the application is received.

🗓️High School Fall Sports Sign-ups due before August 14
🗓️Middle School Fall Sports Sign-ups due before September 4

Before participating in tryouts, practices, or competitions, scholars must:

✅ Submit a current sports physical
✅ Complete all athletic forms through Skyward
✅ Have all scholar fees paid in full
✅ Attend and sign in at the 2026-27 Athletic Parent Code Meeting on Monday, August 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Many TLA scholars are using Summer to reach for their career goals!

Congratulations to Omar A., Zachary B., Ismael G., Jose G., JanCarlos V., and Devin W.H., who completed the Accelerated Industrial Maintenance (AIM) program at Blackhawk Technical College. AIM is a part of Wisconsin's Worker Advancement Initiative, which emphasizes hands-on learning and classroom training to help individuals build skills and advance their careers.

During the 4-week program, scholars completed three classes at Blackhawk Technical College and visited local businesses. Scholars wrapped up the program by presenting what they learned.
