We were grateful to attend the Stateline Community Foundation 's Women's Fund Luncheon, "Shattering Expectations: Women in Leadership". It was an outstanding event featuring four amazing women leaders in our community.

Thank you to Casey and the entire Christofferson Moving & Storage Team for their continued support of Caritas. While our truck was out of commission for three weeks, they donated their time and trucks to help us pick up deliveries and then covered the cost of a rental truck for two weeks. Every year, 40% of the food distributed is picked up using our truck locally. Thank you Casey and your team for helping us improve the food security of our neighbors.

Thank you to the National Association of Letter Carriers for organizing an amazing food drive this Saturday. We received over 1000 pounds of food that we can share with our neighbors.

Happy Birthday to our youngest volunteer, Isaac, who has been volunteering at Caritas with his mom and sibling for seven years.

Thank you to the League of Women Voters for their donation of three trees this week increasing our community's tree canopy. Their volunteers researched the best trees for our space and planted them this week. We are looking forward to how they will improve our grounds.

Today we celebrate the volunteers who work in our Baby Room. These volunteers organize baby clothing and other baby items as well as diapers. They greet our neighbors and help them find the clothes, shoes, books and diapers that they need. Thank you for helping the littlest of our neighbors.

Today we celebrate the volunteers who help with special events like "Girls Night Out". They help us outside of Caritas by educating the community and raising funds. Thank you!
