🚀 Celebrating a Remarkable First Year for Our Career Technical Education Engineering Pathway! 🚀

We are proud to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our students during the inaugural year of our Career Technical Education (CTE) Engineering Pathway. Through hard work, dedication, and hands-on learning experiences, our students have earned an impressive number of industry-recognized credentials that will help prepare them for successful careers in today's workforce.

This year, our students earned:

✅ 9 FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates
✅ 9 FANUC Handling Tool Operations & Programming in Robotics Credentials
✅ 13 Forklift Operator Credentials
✅ 17 Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) 4.0 & CPT+ Safety Certifications
✅ 8 MSSC CPT 4.0 & CPT+ Quality Practices & Measurement Certifications
✅ 55 OSHA 10 Certifications

These credentials provide students with valuable technical knowledge and workplace skills that are highly sought after by employers throughout our region and beyond.

One of the most exciting outcomes of our new pathway is the opportunity it has already created for our students. As a direct result of his participation in the program, Jayden Haynes has been hired as a paid summer intern at Micro Machine Works. During his internship, Jayden will work toward earning a SolidWorks credential while gaining hands-on experience in CNC machining and advanced manufacturing.

We are excited to offer opportunities that connect classroom learning to real-world careers and help students build pathways to high-demand, good-paying jobs right here in southeastern Ohio.

Congratulations to all of our students on these incredible achievements! The future is bright, and we look forward to seeing what our Engineering Pathway students accomplish next!

Renew your alumni membership to stay informed!

In the past, we mailed the January issue of the Olden Eagle only to alumni with paid memberships, while the July issue was sent to all alumni for whom we had a current mailing address. However, due to the rising costs of printing, postage, and newsprint, we are now able to mail both issues only to alumni with paid memberships. This reduces our mailing list from more than 4,000 recipients to about 700. It was not a decision we made lightly, but it became necessary because of declining membership and increasing costs. A membership form is attached if you would like to renew or join and remain on the mailing list for both annual issues. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
