⚠⚠ Attention Blacklick Twp residents and those in surrounding areas⚠⚠

ROAD CLOSURE
SATURDAY, AUGUST 29, 2026
9:45 AM until 12:00PM

SR 271 (Station Road) in Blacklick Township will be closed for a parade between Plank Road and Redmill Road. Please avoid the area where possible. Traffic control will be provided along 271 to warn drivers of the closure and to provide directions. Use Cardiff Road to avoid the closure from 9:45AM and 12:00PM.

All side streets in Twin Rocks will be barricaded off at 9:45AM for the parade. Please do not move or drive around barricades.

🚨ATTENTION🚨: It has come to our attention that a young male in a light blue reflective vest was soliciting siding bids to several homes on the 400 block Allie Buck Rd. last evening around 8-8:30. He was not wearing identification nor could provide a name of who he was working for. This person does NOT have a Soliciting Permit in Blacklick Township. If they do not have a permit or ID please call the non-emergency # for Cambria County 814.472.2100

🚨NEW SCAM ALERT🚨The Township received a call today about a text message received from PA DMV Services stating they owed money for a prior incident AND MUST PAY today with a link in order to avoid charges. The person was involved in an accident last year (no fault of their own) and was concerned. PA DMV has this warning below posted on their site. PLEASE REMEMBER: Local, State or Federal Government DO NOT send texts for money.
