JUNE
Far up in the deep blue sky
Great white clouds are floating by.
All the world is dressed in green,
Many happy birds are seen.
Roses, bright, and sunshine clear,
Show that lovely June is here.

WE WILL BE CELEBRATING FATHER’S DAY ON JUNE 18 BY PREPARING A LUNCH FIT FOR OUR FATHERS. SAM HAS A NEW GRILL AND SHE’S EXCITED TO USE IT. Welcome May!
Our last yoga session is this Friday. Thank you, Random Rock, Yoga, and Mega McCoy for leading us in yoga over the past months. The quiet environment and slow, steady stretches have helped us stay strong in mind and body.
This Friday, May 8, at 1 o'clock is our third annual tea party. We encourage you to wear a hat from the past, present, or future, if you desire. This is a great opportunity to visit with women you haven't seen in a while. Please call the Center at 406-277-3861 by Thursday so we can set a special place for you.

Well, it will be a busy week at the Belt Golden Agers Senior Center this week. The requested information on Wills vs Trust is finally here. On Wednesday, valuable information will be given to those who attend the class on how to put your final wishes in place. Handouts will be available from the MSU Extension office. Lunch, clam chowder, is available. Please call 406-277-3861 for reservations for lunch. NO RESERVATIONS ARE NECESSARY TO ATTEND THE CLASS.
Friday, April 24, a class on emergency response will be offered at the Senior Center at no charge. This begins at 10 AM and will last approximately 90 minutes. Information you will receive our signs of a stroke and what to do if you are a loved one has them, basic first aid, how to help a choking person, and how to perform chest compressions on a person who does not have a heartbeat. This class will give you the knowledge of what to do after you have called 911 and you’re waiting for emergency assistance. The Belt ambulance personnel will be presenting this information. April 24th, Friday, Emergency Protocol class will give you the skills to be confident in an emergency in your home.
So often family members say, “ I didn’t know what to do?”. This class will answer that question. 90 minutes and you will have an understanding on what to do in a medical emergency before help arrives.
