For every Soldier, Patriot Day is a reminder of why we serve. We honor the memory of those who were lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families who carry their legacy.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the heroes who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy. We remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that united our nation.

To those who serve and protect, and to the families who carry the memory of loved ones, we stand with you.

At the 418th CA BN's Change of Command ceremony this past weekend, the 418th got to say good-bye and many thank-yous to LTC Eric Anderson, and his wonderful family, and welcomed LTC Antony Diez as our new battalion commander.
The 418th CA BN also would like to thank our special guest, COL Hanneken, 308th CA BDE, Commanding, for his advice and guidance moving forward.
And, thank you to our host, the Liberty Memorial National WWI Museum and Memorial for letting our battalion mark this special occasion at such a meaningful and beautiful site.
