✨FLASHBACK FRIDAY!!✨

🌷 A Tradition of Giving Back: Service League & Junior League

Looking back through these wonderful newspaper clippings, it’s inspiring to see that the Service League and Junior League of Bell County have a long-standing tradition of turning creativity, hard work, and community spirit into meaningful support for local organizations.

From bulb sales that raised more than $13,000, to luncheons, style shows, house tours, and other special events, these women found so many wonderful ways to bring the community together while raising funds for important causes. ❤️

What stands out most is that the mission has always been bigger than the fundraiser itself. The proceeds helped support children, families, community agencies, educational programs, and other local partners who were doing vital work in our community.

These clippings are a beautiful reminder that community service is a tradition built one volunteer, one event, and one generous contribution at a time. While the fundraisers may have changed over the years, the heart behind them has remained the same: serve, support, and strengthen our community.

We are grateful for all of the women who came before us and helped create this legacy of giving, and proud to continue building on it today. ❤

As we honor Dolly Parton and remember her remarkable life and legacy, her words feel especially meaningful. Through her music, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to helping others, Dolly leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations.

Her Imagination Library has helped make the joy of reading accessible to children everywhere. Over the years, Junior Leagues have supported her work through partnerships with the program, helping bring free books to children in communities across the country.

Dolly’s example reminds us of the impact one person can make when they choose to leave something good behind. Her legacy of generosity, kindness, and service will live on.

As we kick off our 50th year, we’re proud to introduce the 2026-2027 Junior League of Bell County Board of Directors - a dedicated group of women who lead with vision, purpose and heart.

These leaders bring a wealth of talent, experience, and heart to their roles, and we are grateful for their willingness to serve. We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make as we continue empowering women and improving our community. ❤️

At our first monthly meeting, we encouraged our members to bring school supplies, and we were so honored to put those donations to good use! 📚✏️🎒

We had the opportunity to drop off school supplies at Family Promise and Sampson Howard Elementary. We’re grateful to everyone who contributed and helped us give back to our community. ❤️

We hope all the kids in Bell County have an amazing, successful, and joy-filled school year! 🍎📓✨

❤ The Junior League of Bell County officially kicked off the new year with our first General Membership Meeting this week! It was wonderful to reconnect with members, and share the exciting opportunities ahead as we continue serving our community.
