The current fire service has an obligation to prepare their fire departments for the future. This means recruiting the next generation of firefighters. The Belton Fire Department has invested in the future through our Junior Firefighter program. If you are a teenager between the ages of 14-18 years of age and are interested in learning what the fire service is all about, we’d like to talk to you. Junior firefighters train, respond to calls, pull duty at the station and take part in community events. They are a vital piece of our department and we want to continue building our program. All training, uniforms and gear provided. Come see what we are about and learn how you can help serve our wonderful city! A little before 7am this morning, Belton firefighters responded just outside the city limits to assist our auto-aid partner, Rock Springs Station 1, on a working structure fire.

‼️DID YOU KNOW ‼️

Belton Fire has specialized equipment to rescue people from confined spaces and other emergencies that require use of life safety rope and specialized rescue equipment. Our firefighters train to stay proficient to respond to all-hazards. This is another set of skills that Belton firefighters possess to help our community.

Good day at the office! The men conducted a great Confined Space Rescue Drill. It was nice to use some skills that we don’t get to deploy very often, but are extremely important. Even caught a structure fire run with our automatic aid stations, Cheddar Fire Department and Rock Springs Fire Department.
