Killeen-Temple Metropolitan Planning Organization Metropolitan Planning Organization MPO stands for metropolitan planning organization, which is a federally designated regional transportation planning entity.

MPOs were established by federal law in 1962 and are required for any urbanized area with a population greater than 50,000. KTMPO is located in Central Texas and serves the Killeen and Temple areas. This includes all of Bell County, Copperas Cove, and Kempner.

🚲 We're excited to welcome two outstanding bicycle advocates to Wednesday's ATAC meeting, along with a presentation highlighting the future of parks, trails, recreation, and open spaces in Belton, Texas - City Government

Robin Stallings, Executive Director of BikeTexas and a leader in advancing bicycle and pedestrian safety across Texas, will be presenting alongside Sean, a remarkable 15-year-old advocate whose passion and determination are helping shape the future of bicycle safety.

With the Texas Trails & Active Transportation Conference (TTAT) coming up this November, we're especially excited to see leaders and emerging advocates connecting, sharing ideas, and building momentum for a safer, more bicycle-friendly future.
