BIG WIN FOR THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE!

The Missouri Supreme Court handed down its decisions today, and People Not Politicians AND Respect Missouri Voters WON!

The court ruled that Missouri voters WILL get to decide the fate of the “Missouri First” congressional map this November. That means the congressional map drawn in 2022 will remain in place for the November election.

And there’s more good news: the court unanimously ruled that Amendment 6 — Respect Missouri Voters will be on the November ballot. If passed, Amendment 6 will strengthen and protect Missouri’s initiative petition process and the power of Missouri voters.

A HUGE thank-you to every volunteer who put in countless hours collecting signatures, talking to voters, and doing the tireless work it took to get us to this moment. You made today possible!

This is absolute BS.

Missouri taxpayers just spent $167,000 on a state-produced abortion video, less than three months before we vote on Amendment 3, which would overturn the reproductive rights Missourians voted to put in our Constitution in 2024.

I don't care which side of an issue you're on: our taxpayer dollars should NOT be used by elected officials to influence how we vote. We already paid for their attempt to overturn our votes in the legislature. Now we're paying for the messaging, too?

The PSA references a June ruling by Jackson County Circuit Judge Jerri Zhang that struck down dozens of challenged abortion regulations as unconstitutional.
