⚾ Battle of the Badges Softball Tournament is coming to Belton!

Join us on Saturday, August 22, 2026, as local first responders take the field for a day of friendly competition—all for a great cause.

Every swing, cheer, and donation helps fund the Future First Responders Scholarship, supporting Belton High School students pursuing careers in law enforcement, fire service, EMS, and other first responder professions.

This week, members of the Belton Fire Department attended the International Association of Fire Chiefs-Fire Rescue International in Kansas City. Several members took leadership classes and attended the equipment expo.

Fire Rescue International is a premiere training and leadership expo held annually across the United States. Thank you Kansas City Fire Department for hosting this event.

Today, Belton Fire Department members responded to a vehicle fire in the area of North Cass Pkwy and Peculiar Drive. No injuries were reported in this incident.

School is almost back in session... and these two couldn't wait! 🎒🚌😄

While our friends at South Metro Fire District and Raymore Police Department are racing off the bus like it's the first day of school,
there's still time to help local students start the year prepared.

Drop off new school supplies at either Belton Fire Department station or the Belton Missouri Police Department. Together, we're teaming up with our neighbors across the highway to help students head back to school with everything they need for a successful year.
