⚜️ Class of Spring 2026 Commissioning Ceremony ⚜️
⚜️ Today marked a significant milestone as we commissioned three exceptional individuals as 2LTs into the U.S. Army. 2LT Barajas embarks on an active duty commission in the Military Police Corps, 2LT Seigle joins the Armor Corps, and 2LT Sandoval steps into the Infantry. This achievement reflects years of dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to serving our nation.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the families and friends whose support has been instrumental in shaping these leaders. Your encouragement and sacrifices have been the bedrock of their success. A special thank you to General (Retired) Thurman for his insightful words and inspiration, which have undoubtedly left a lasting impact on our newly commissioned officers.
As these 2LTs step forward to lead, we are confident in their abilities and character. They embody the values of UMHB ROTC and represent the future of our armed forces. Congratulations to 2LT Barajas, 2LT Seigle, and 2LT Sandoval—may your careers be filled with purpose, honor, and success. ⚜️
