Wander the trails at Bread Lock Park and take a peek at some of our winged summer residents! Easy hike, gradual incline/decline, grassy and dirt trail.

💚 The Overcoming Plant Blindness program has been given a new date!

🌿Join Park Naturalists on Monday July 20th, 6:30pm-8:00pm to gain a deeper appreciation of our green, growing neighbors at Bread Lock Park.

🌱Overcoming Plant Blindness is a guided walk and workshop; we will wander through the pollinator meadow and forest of the park, learning more about the plant species that live there and all the unseen benefits and services that plants perform for us. Following the walk, there will be a brief workshop on making natural insect repellent from plants!

🦇Celebrate International Bat Night on August 29th!

💛Join the Park Naturalists at Bread Lock Park where Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ’s Leah Wells will be speaking about bat species found in New Jersey, the threats and obstacles they face, and how we can all play a part in protecting these remarkable animals!

🦇Bring your own blanket or lawn chair and witness the post-sunset emergence of resident Big Brown bats from the Bread Lock Park Barn. All ages are welcome!
