The Boone County Sheriff's Office provides police services to the citizens of Boone County 24 hours a day, year round. The Patrol Division responds to over 20,000 calls for service annually and may also assist surrounding jurisdictions when requested. The Boone County Sheriff's Office is comprised of 108 full-time employees and 18 pa
rt-time employees. This site is not monitored 24 hours a day and it is not the proper venue to report a crime. If you have an immediate emergency, please call 9-1-1. If you have information regarding a crime, please contact our non-emergency line at 815-544-2144. In the event you would like to provide an anonymous tip, please call Crime Stoppers at 815-547-7867.
