π©Ί Important Medicaid Update for Illinois Residents π©Ί
The Family Planning Program (FPP) is a Medicaid category with a higher income limit than standard Medicaid β up to $3,841/month for an individual.
What FPP covers:

β
Breast, cervical & testicular cancer screenings
β
Other reproductive health services
Good to know: Family Planning Presumptive Eligibility (FPPE) provides immediate coverage for these services (at least one month, possibly longer) with self-attestation of residency and income.
β οΈ Coming soon: Illinois HFS is changing the Medicaid application process. If you qualify for FPP, you will be automatically enrolled unless you choose to opt out.
