MnDOT will be hosting an open house at our town hall tomorrow (Tuesday, May 19th) from 4-6pm regarding construction on Highway 71 this summer. Please note that this is not affiliated with our township supervisors or any township personnel, and the open house will be run by MnDOT employees, not township employees. This is a courtesy announcement to inform any citizens who would like to attend since it will take place at our very own town hall. If you have any questions, please contact MnDOT; township personnel will not have answers regarding this project. If you haven't gotten a chance to pick up any decorations you may have left on a gravesite over the winter at South Arm Cemetery, this is your friendly reminder to do so. They are now exposed after the snow melted (Christmas wreaths, etc.). If you'd like someone to clean up these items for you, contact our cemetery sexton, Rod, at (218) 308-4402.
