We are celebrating our kiddos attendance over the next two days in gym class with Bouncy Houses 🎉 Thank You Mr. Gooch for leading the set up and PE teachers for rocking this fun with our kiddos during their PE classes this Wednesday and Thursday at GDE 🦅 Special Thank You to Granmo & Riley for the quality control checks after school today so we are all set to celebrate attendance at GDE 🎉

Huge THANK YOU to so many people that helped us enjoy our 2026 Spring Splash 💦 Thank You Woody & your life guard team keeping us safe while we swam. Melissa and the bus drivers for the transportation throughout the Spring Splash. Thank You Kristen Neuenfeldt McRae, Jason Stanoch & Kyle Ressler for helping organize the dates for us to swim with you all. Thank You Dave for sharing the pool deck set up, clean up & supervision. Thank You GDE Staff for taking the time out of class, prep, etc. so that we could make this possible for our kiddos!! Thank You GDE Kiddos for doing such an amazing job while at the high school pool! You were Safe, Respectful and Responsible and I am so grateful to you all 🦅

Magical Musical 🎼 🎶 Medley!!

Thank You Bemidji High School Orchestra, Choir & Band for sharing your musical talents with our 5th graders at Gene Dillon Elementary as they prepare to make their elective selections for next school year. Welcoming back former Eagles 🦅 was so incredibly awesome too!! The musicians & music were simply magical 🎉 THANK YOU 🎉

🦅 Spring Splash 💦 2026 kicked off today with two 5th grade classes swimming at the BHS Pool 🎉 So much fun to hear the kiddos giggling, splashing and playing together 💯Joy! Thank You GDE PTO for the financial support, Woody & lifeguard team 🛟 for keeping us safe and Megan for arranging our transportation 🚌

Bemidji Area Schools will be 2 hours late tomorrow, February 18th, due to projected weather impacts. Staff and students please report 2 hours late. Parent/Guardian drop off can begin at 9:40 am and school will officially start at 10:05 am. Please stay warm and safe Eagles 🦅

BLIZZARD BINGO 2026 🎉

Our GDE Team is excited to invite our kiddos and their families to school for BLIZZARD BINGO this month 🎉

5th graders: Tuesday, January 20th
4th graders: Thursday, January 22nd
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm each evening in our cafeteria

Giovani’s Pizza 🍕 will be available for purchase along with popcorn 🍿 and bottled water 🥤

Prizes will be full size candy bars 🎉
