Okay Peeps, I am inviting you all to a Neighborhoods Organizing for Change meeting. An organizer from this group will be here this weekend, Shiranthi Goonathilaka, to meet with all those interested in learning more about reaching out to members of community to encourage social and economic justice.

Neighborhoods Organizing for Change (NOC) is a grassroots, member-led organization building power in under-resourced communities and communities of color across the Twin Cities. Together, NOC members fight for racial and economic justice. We're building powerful, active campaigns for workers' rights, expanded voting rights, quality public education, environmental justice, and police accountability.

I am pretty sure this will be happening on Saturday and Sunday at the Rail River Folks School. This is kind of last minute planning so they don't have exact times yet. Please stay tuned for details.

Just on the Sunday Ready to Resist call from MoveOn.org. Tonite some good news: Congressman Jon Tester from MT is coming out against Gorsuch. According to Chuck Schumer we have a strong chance of getting to the 41 votes needed to deny Gorsuch.

This week if you can call your senators reminding them to OPPOSE GORSUCH, to work with mainstream republicans to OPPOSE Gorsuch, and tell them that he doesn't get the votes do not allow Republicans to change the rules for the "nuclear option".
