There is still time to sign up for Long Point State Park on Lake Chautauqua for our “I Love My Park Day” event sponsored by the New York Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and Parks & Trails New York. This service event is a great opportunity to give back to the community by participating in various projects around the park. Service projects for this year include painting, planting flowers, beach cleanup, and more. Let’s continue to enhance our beautiful parks to enjoy now and for future generations!

This event will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The day starts with check in/registration at 9:00 a.m. at the picnic pavilion. Projects will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until lunch at 12:00 p.m. Please keep the weather in mind and dress appropriately. Interested?
