The Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, September 27th from 7:30 to 10:00 pm - Gym at SLVHS

Parents - if you are Picking Up a Student after the Dance, please plan to be there by 10:15 pm

There are several staff members chaperoning the dance and we cannot leave until the last student is picked up.

Leadership Opportunity For One Student: School Board Student Trustee

Coast gets it’s own School Board Student Trustee! Interested students will run to be elected as our Student Representative to the School Board.

Requirements for Student Trustee:

Conscientious and reliable

Good grades/good student standing

Able to give the board brief updates about Coast Redwood

Able to go to 1-2 board meetings a month on Wednesday evenings

Able to represent Coast Redwood to the school board.

Fundraiser:
Our fledgling parent group is already working on a Fundraiser tailor-made for Coast Redwood’s many artists. We will be doing Square One Art creations on the Outdoor Adventure, facilitated by Shanti Cruddas. If you aren’t going on the Outdoor Adventure and would like to create art that can be turned into amazing keepsakes, I have the materials necessary for all Coast students to create a beautiful work of art. Outdoor Adventure: Meeting at lunch this Tuesday (9/23) for students going on the trip!

For parents– our pick up is going to be a little different this year, instead of getting bused back to Coast Redwood, we’re going to have students get picked up from Mt. Cross at 2:30 on Wednesday, 10/1. Please make sure your happy, but tired and grimy kid doesn’t have to wait too long to get picked up. :)
