As we close the 2025–2026 school year, I want to extend my sincere thanks to our students, staff, parents, community members, and School Board Trustees for helping make this a successful year at Benavides ISD.

Together, we celebrated academic growth, strengthened programs, expanded opportunities for students, and continued building a culture focused on excellence and opportunity. These accomplishments are the result of teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to our children.

I would also like to thank our community for its overwhelming support of the recent bond election. Your investment in our schools is an investment in the future of Benavides. Because of your support, when we begin the 2026–2027 school year, students and staff will return to newly improved parking lots, a brand-new shaded playground with turf, and a completed track and concession stand project. Throughout the summer, we will also be making significant upgrades to our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, while continuing improvements to our cafeteria facilities.

The future of Benavides ISD is bright, and we are excited about the opportunities these improvements will create for our students and community. Thank you for your trust, partnership, and continued support.
