Cascade Youth & Family Center is looking for Host Homes to provide a temporary safe, welcoming environment for young individuals in need.

Through this program, members of the community can help support local youth by providing a stable, nurturing space that promotes the well-being of these young individuals. Hosts will also receive a nightly stipend of $45 to help offset any related costs. These homes are critical to the success of our program and you can be an important piece! The at:project (Anti-Trafficking Project) works directly with victims and survivors of human trafficking, to assist in connecting them to community resources and support at any stage from crisis to stabilization. We serve adults and minors who are suspected or confirmed victims of s*x and/or labor trafficking. All services are voluntary, confidential, and free.

Last night, at the Canal House, a Cascade Youth and Family shelter for abandoned and runaway youth experiencing homelessness, kids did “letters to our future self.” Some will choose to open these letters when they leave the program.. for some that will be a year, for others, 5 years. No matter when… the goal is for the youth to see their own growth in their own time. We believe in the bright future that’s possible for these children.
