Grandma's House Of Central Oregon

Grandma's House Of Central Oregon Grandma’s House is a non-profit emergency & transitional shelter for pregnant and parenting young mothers who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness.

At Grandma’s House we provide a safe and stable shelter, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for pregnant and parenting teens between the ages of 15 and 21. www.GrandmasHouseOfCO.org

We offer case management, counseling and educational opportunities to all residents. Workshops include life-skills, childbirth education and parenting skills. When young mothers and babies transition from

Grandma's House into independent living they become a part of our outreach program called the ‘Angels Wing’. They continue to receive support and services just as if they lived in the home.

WE’RE 90.4% OF THE WAY THERE! Your gift will help complete J Bar J's Support Center and open the door to more opportunities for young people.
And behind every great project are people who put their heart into making it happen! A special shoutout to CS Construction Superintendent Shawn Waite and his young helper for helping bring our vision to life - one day, and one building lesson, at a time.

Something exciting is taking shape at J Bar J Youth Services.
Our new Support Center is more than a building. It’s an investment in young people—and in the opportunities they need to build strong, independent futures.
Through this effort, youth will have greater access to educational experiences, job skills, mentorship, and the support they need to take their next steps with confidence.
Every wall we raise represents possibility.
Every space we create opens a new door.
And every person who supports this campaign becomes part of what happens next.
Together, we’re building more than a Support Center. We’re building brighter futures.

Grandma’s House is looking for donations of vegetable, fruit, and flower starts for our residents’ garden program! Gardening provides a wonderful opportunity for residents to build skills, enjoy the outdoors, and experience the joy of nurturing something from seed to harvest.

If you have extra starts to share this season, we would be grateful for your support. Donations of tomatoes, peppers, herbs, berries, flowers, and other garden starts are all welcome. Together, we can help our residents grow confidence, connection, and beautiful gardens.

Interested in donating? Please call (541)383-3515 to discuss a drop off time and location ✨

Did you know the name “Grandma’s House” came from some of the first girls living at the shelter? Unsure where to tell people they were staying, the director suggested they simply say “I’m at my Grandma’s House.” The name and legacy have stuck ever since!
