Service Reminder...Any A.B.C. and B.C. Fire extinguishers need to be serviced annually. YOU can service yourself to insure extinguisher works properly. First to look for is that gauge is full and charged. Second locate date, any over 6 years or gauge low we suggest to simply replace. TO SERVICE...Check for pull pin is secured in extinguisher handle. Use a rubber hammer and bang on bottom of extinguisher to loosen powder inside. NOTE any extinguishers that the head is made of plastic please replace with a metal head style as plastic expanse and shrinks with hot and cold and are not reliable source. BE SURE TO CHECK SMOKE DETECTERS AS WELL..Please take the time to do these services for your personal safety. Boyd.
