Monday motivation, way to go Waste Connections of Texas ❤️
Lost Wedding Ring Found after a Waste Connections Team sorted through tons of trash at the Turkey Creek Landfill, Alvarado, Texas.
"Hi! My name is Nelly and I live in Waxahachie Texas. I wanted to give recognition to a team in one of your landfill locations in Alvarado TX, Turkey Creek Landfill. Friday morning I had to call because I accidentally threw away my ring that my husband gave me when he proposed to me 5 years ago. The ring meant everything to me. I accidentally threw it away! I was devastated because our trash had been long gone when we realized that had happened. I spoke to a lady named Karen! She was so sweet and empathized for me that I had lost something that was very special to me! I asked the process of how things were done from curbside pick up all the way to the landfill. As she’s telling me the process my heart was shattering a bit by bit knowing that I would never see my ring again! She told me they would try to find it and they would do what they could to help. She touched base with me four different times asking questions about trash bag color to what the ring looked like etc.
Hours later (I know it was after hours) she sent me a picture of this perfect ring. My engagement ring! I was floored they found it. Adolfo and Soto were a HUGE contribution to finding it. They looked through thousands of pieces of trash to find something special for someone they didn’t know. They by have to do that yet they went beyond their call of duty to help and for that I am forever thankful! They are my angels. I want to give them all the recognition in the world. In a world full of wrong and hatred this truly shows and proves there are still amazing humans in this world and they work for your company. Waste Connections is very lucky to have Karen, Soto and Adolfo to be apart of your team."
