📢 THANK YOU BEND CITY COUNCIL! 👏

Thanks to our and our fellow activists' advocacy, council will consider committing to electrify new city buildings in August. They're also hiring a staffer to help implement climate policies.

Buildings make up 52% of Bend's greenhouse gas emissions. We need to electrify to fight the climate crisis! ✊

City buildings are not enough; young bendites need council to do more to electrify Bend. But this is a great step forward. 🎉 We look forward to continue working with the city on climate solutions.
