Knox County Courthouse will be closing today at 12:00pm and Monday due to incoming weather. That being said, the Knox County Clerk's Office will continue to accept applications for Deputy Clerk until Tuesday, 01/27/2026, at 4:30 p.m..

The Knox County & District Clerk's office is accepting applications for a full time DEPUTY CLERK.

This position will include clerical duties for processing county court records, filing, recording legal documents, vital records, assisting with elections, and customer service.

The successful candidate will need to have strong organizational, computer, and communication skills with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service. Must demonstrate teamwork, dependability, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Benefits include a competitive pay scale, health insurance, paid vacation and a retirement plan.

Applications may be picked up at the Knox County Clerk's office in Benjamin, Texas, Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Applications must be received by January 23, 2026,by 4:00pm.

Early Voting will be held in the Knox County Clerks office in Benjamin.

Hours of Early Voting are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday!
