🛝 Notice is hereby given that The City of Benkelman will hold a public hearing on August 19th, 2026 at 5:00 pm to receive public comment regarding an application to the Land Water Conservation Fund on the proposed revitalization of the playground at the Ward Bond Memorial Park.

We're excited to share this concept image of our vision for upgraded playground equipment at our community park!

Please note that this is a concept rendering and is contingent upon the municipality receiving grant funding. The image represents our proposed vision should the grant be awarded, and the final design and equipment may vary.

The Swimming Pool will be closed Wednesday August 5th, 2026 due to shortage of staff.

With the pools last day being August 7th, it will remain open August 10th, 11th, 12th and 14th for Lap Swim only from 5-6 p.m.

The Swimming Pool will close for the season after August 7th.

Friday August 7th, will be the last day the pool is open.
